MISS BLACK OHIO USA and

MISS BLACK OHIO USA TALENTED TEEN 2009!

The Miss Black Ohio USA Scholarship Pageant, Inc. is searching for young ladies and women who are intelligent, talented, poised and beautiful. If that is you, do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity! Our state finals will be held at the beautiful Shedd Theater in the Columbus Performing Arts Center in Columbus, Ohio. Our pageant weekend is Friday, August 15-17, 2008 and we have lots of activities and fun planned for our state finalists!

The candidate selected as "Miss Black Ohio USA" will go on to compete against 50 other state delegates vying for the title of "Miss Black USA". The most recent national pageant was held in Las Vegas, NV at The Orleans Hotel & Casino from June 17-23, 2008 where our titleholder, Ashley Ponder, representing the Great Buckeye State! State delegates will enjoy at least a week of promotional activities, culminating with the final competition which includes Fitness, Talent, Evening Gown, Interview, and On-stage Question and Answer. One deserving delegate will be crowned "Miss Black USA" at the national competition, and will receive scholarship money, an array of prizes, and media exposure, with opportunities to speak both in the United States and abroad.

The candidate selected as the first "Miss Black Ohio USA Talented Teen" will go on to compete against 50 other state delegates vying for the title of "Miss Black USA Talented Teen" at the first Miss Black USA Talented Teen Pageant. State delegates will enjoy promotional activities, culminating with the final competition which includes Fitness, Talent, Evening Gown, Interview, and On-stage Question and Answer. One deserving delegate will be crowned "Miss Black USA Talented Teen" at the national competition, and will receive scholarship money, an array of prizes and media exposure.

What is the cost to compete?

The entry fee for the State Pageant is $185, which includes some meals. Hotel accommodations are additional and the responsibility of the contestant. A minimum deposit of $50 is due with the application. Payment arrangement are available and the the final balance is due August 1, 2008.

State delegates must sell one full-page ad in the pageant program book and five adult tickets to the event.

Incentives to compete with MBOUSA

All advertisering and monetary sponsors that you bring to the pageant, you get 20% of the value! If your fees are not paid yet, your 20% will go to your fees first. Once your fees have been paid, your 20% will be mailed to you within 7 days of clearance of funds. The more of these you get, the more comes back to help you with pageant expenses!

When you arrive to pageant weekend with your fees paid in full, as a gift you will receive a complimentary 3 day and 2 night deluxe hotel accommodations package!
